Without Gravity – Beautiful Son

Without Gravity formed three years ago in Reykjavik, giving them plenty of time to develop their sound in advance of this, their debut single. And that’s clearly what they’ve done, you can hear that a lot of time and effort has gone into honing their style. Unfortunately, what they’ve come up with is unbelievably dull.

The band’s meandering acoustic songs roll along for what seems like a very long time and are ultimately completely forgettable. This doesn’t bode well for the band’s debut album, Tenderfoot (released 16th May), though it is possible that they’re holding something back that with come to fruition there. We can only hope.
