Tom Vek – I Ain’t Saying My Goodbyes (CD Review)

Tom Vek has been twisting electro-rock into his brand of spirited punk guitar with euphoric vocal edges and vibrant electro beat. This latest single is shows the latest heights he has climbed. ‘I Ain’t Saying My Goodbyes’ has throbbing bass and angular guitars that get your feet moving and all the while the pleading tones and defiant edges of Tom’s vocals carry the song upwards and onwards. The single also comes with the downtempo bass and stressed keyboards and perfectly strangled jangle of guitars that make up the desperate theme of ‘Don’t Jump’. To finish off there is a veer into more electronic territory with the assured stridency of ‘Summer Fall’.
