The Strokes – Juicebox (CD Review)

They’re back and they are very much the same as last time. The Strokes patented rumbling and mumbling style has managed to remain intact; in some ways that us a bonus – you know exactly what you are going to get – but in other ways it is a shame – there is little new here. What ‘Juicebox’ has is some quality heavy bass action and a chorus to scream yourself hoarse to. It is safe to say it has them in spades.

So basically this is The Strokes as you know and, possibly, love them. If I were you I’d ignore my niggling about them not changing anything and get moshing.
