The Redwalls – De Nova

The Redwalls found themselves with an amazing soapbox to shout from when they supported Oasis on their UK stadium tour.

A finer match for Oasis could not be found, if this album is anything to go by, both bands are fairly evenly matched in terms of lack of originality – though these young upstarts (with ages ranging from 19 to 22) do at least have some life in some of their music.

  • Buy De Nova at Amazon
  • Book tickets at Ticketmaster
  • Listeners will find themselves treated to straight rip offs of The Beatles, The Eagles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones and Status Quo, placing them in the same ballpark as Jet, The Strokes and Oasis – though Thank You sounds very much like It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over by Lenny Kravitz.

Don’t even think about buying this.
