The Poppyfields – 45 RPM

The Poppyfields (who, it is rumoured, may well be The Alarm in a cunning disguise) have a debut (or possibly not) single out. ’45RPM’ is a riotous pop-punk number celebrating the olde worlde vinyl single. It is a catchy little song that I can imagine drunkenly throwing myself around to with gay abandon, while shouting ‘FOUR-TEE-FIVE ARR-PEE-EMM, FOUR-TEE-FIVE ARR-PEE-EMM’.

An album, from whoever turns out to have created this song, is due in March.
