The Kills – The Good Ones (CD Review)

‘The Good Ones’ is the first single to be taken from the second album (‘No Wow’, released 21 February) from The Kills and I am glad to say they are as moody as ever and have lost none of their raw sound. Jamie’s implausibly deep and fuzzed up guitars fight with the insistent disco beat throughout, while it is left to VV to relate the thrill seeking tale of hedonistic nights. This is another excellent song from a pair that are masters of creating urgent, passionate and vibrant punk rock.
