The Fallout Trust – When We Are Gone (CD Review)

The Fallout Trust are a six piece band that come from Bristol and Newcastle. They have a sound that falls somewhere between Delays and The Music, a kind of euphoric pop prog that begins in a clunky electronica fashion and develops with melodramatically ominous piano before finally exploding in a swirl of guitars. I’d be fibbing if I said it set my soul alight but I would also have to concede that The Fallout Trust has potential. When We Are Gone’ is the first single to be released (following two EPs last year).
