My Silver Mount Zion (Blogcast Review)

The UK based cast My Silver Mount Zion comprises Rob and Steve playing a selection of indie, electronica, ambient and singer songwriter tracks interspersed with generally aimless but brief unscripted banter. The quality of the music is excellent and contains tracks that are new and old. As they tend to be recorded late at night the songs tend towards the gentle and reflective, although contrast is frequently provided by more upbeat numbers. Full track listings can be found on the blog itself. My Silver Mount Zion is a great listen with marvellously irreverent commentry from Steve and Rob; much better now that Steve can be heard in all his glory!

Output is good quality and in MP3 at 96kbps, the episodes coming in at around 40MB; casts are irrgeularly posted.
