Metro Riots – And So… The Tyrants Were Loose

Bursting out of the South London scene and making their mark by going for a big, fat, dirty sound where all others seem to prefer something more tinny, the Metro Riots prove that all the hype that surrounded their demos was right.

First track, RIP Mother, sets the standard with a flurry of thick guitar noise, Lured Into Roulette sounds like The White Stripes might if they could actually play their instruments and Thee Small Faces could have been written by The Hives.

There’s no escaping it, this band will be everywhere before you know it.

Label: Genepool Records
Release date: 18th October 2004
