Matthew Herbert – Harmonise (CD Review)

For those up on the electronic music scene Matthew Herbert should be a name that is familiar. ‘The Movers and the Shakers’ bubbles and jives along like a soul singer in Willy Wonka’s factory. The sounds come from seemingly anywhere and journey together well – when they easily could not. The computer game like sounds beneath ‘Harmonise’ are tempered by glitchy plucked strings and the sweet vocals of Dani Siciliano.
