HAL – Worry About The Wind

The Killiney Beach quintet, who have based their name jointly on Kubrick and Clarke’s artificial intelligence from the film 2001 and (the more relevant) songwriting genius Hal David, are releasing their debut single. Having honed their skills touring their native Ireland for a couple of years the boys have created a confident and soulful sound for themselves. This gentle guitar soul, with its multilayered vocals, slow funk bass and jangly guitars, is very easy on the ear. Hal’s laid back stance is their charm, and they are just right for the sunny times ahead.
