Elviss – Not Enough (CD Review)

Elviss, as you may know from their two previous singles or the Radio One and XFM sessions, are a band that are going places. Their tightly focussed rock lies somewhere between skate-rock and suburban punk; the righteous noise they create is infectious as the purest pop, as energetic as the most passionate demo tape and screams (quite literally) for attention. Karl launches into his lyrics with gusto bordering on the desperately insane while Ed and Struan’s guitar work creates a wall of rapid-fire jarring twangs underpinned by Geoff’s battering of skins.

It is a testament to the band that they have been lauded as ‘The best support band I’ve ever had’ by Corey Taylor of Stone Sour and also having supported Murderdolls, Feeder and In-Me in recent times. This single is a sample of what to expect from their debut album which is due out in the New Year.
