Duke Special – ‘Freewheel’ (CD Review)

FreewheelAs piano-led soft pop-rock goes Duke Special’s ‘Freewheel’ is a fine definition of the subgenre. The strings are there to pull on your heartstrings as they swell for the chorus, contrasting the lack of emotion in the breakdown.

Basically it is a fairly by-the-numbers affair that begins to grate very quickly.
