The debut album by Dogs Die in Hot Cars has been preceded by the success of the singles (included on the album) ‘Godhopping’ and ‘I love You ‘Cause I Have To’ and extensive touring. ‘Please Describe Yourself’ is very much a return to a jaunty eighties pop sound blending pop with ska and jangly guitars. This combination has been described as eccentric, compelling and exciting by the press, but after several listens they can very easily grate.
