LOVE, THE ANSWER TO THE PROBLEM OF HUMAN EXISTENCE

Jack Goldstein makes Experimental Lo-Fi Power-Pop.

‘Love, The Answer To The Problem Of Human Existence’, was released on May 12th by Beanie Tapes. Described as 'an album to lose yourself to, to immerse yourself in the experience, and understand what pop music is capable of', this is Goldstein's fifth solo album since his last release with his psych-pop band Fixers.

Connecting the dots between Brian Wilson and Ween, Goldstein has been extensively touring his latest album up and down the country with Louder Than War describing his energetic live show as a 'Lynchian sense of the bizarre channeling the spirits of James Dean, Andy Kaufman and Uncle Peter from The Smell of Reeves & Mortimer. Goldstein is one of contemporary music’s great magicians and this is a spell you’ll be more than happy to fall under.'

??? A SHORT PROMOTIONAL MESSAGE FROM BEANIE TAPES

LOVE, THE ANSWER TO THE PROBLEM OF HUMAN EXISTENCE is Jack Goldstein’s fifth solo studio album and the first recorded in his new seaside home of Margate. It’s an inspired collage of found sounds energised by live guitar, bass, synths and his trademark shaker, topped with layered Beach Boys vocals and lyrics that express the true unadulterated joy of feeling a deep and meaningful connection to EVERYTHING.

We’re THRILLED to be releasing this album. Jack’s music is true, uncompromising experimental pop that is right at home in the lo-fi tape world and his live show, which he completely reinvents for every album, is always confrontational, weird and mind-bendingly fun. We have always loved Jack’s music and we agreed to release the album long before we had any idea what it would sound like. Lucky for us, Jack exceeded our most outlandish expectations and delivered a recording that is already one of our all-time favourites.

Take a chance on this album. You won’t regret it.
