Delays – Lost In A Melody (CD Review)

‘Lost In A Melody’ is a firm favourite at Delays gigs. It combines their angelic falsetto indie with a touch of eighties pop to create a brilliantly catchy number that is reminiscent of the Scissor Sisters. The effect is even more startling when the Tom Middleton remix is heard and a house vibe takes over the track – it makes Delays sound like they never have before.

Delays have had a good year as they have an album that is due to be going gold any moment, had 2 top 20 hits (‘Long Time Coming’ and ‘Nearer Than Heaven’) and went down well at Glastonbury, V and touring the US with Franz Ferdinand.
