Broken Jack – Escapism EP (CD Review)

If you have missed these guys gigging their way around the South them you have missed a treat. The treat you have missed is a high energy crash of innovative and classic rock that moves crowds and sounds damn good on their debut EP ‘Escapism’.

There are nods to Muse, Qotsa while retaining a style very much of their own. From the ‘Pablo Honey’-esque beginnings of the beutifully self depricating ‘Rumours Of Our Success Have Been Greatly Exaggerated’ there is a intoxicating air about Broken Jack that doesn’t diminish throughout what many bands would have billed as a mini album not an EP.

Check the bands own website for details on how to get your hands on a copy of this very fine EP.
