Radio 4 say Yes! Brooklyn Comes To Britain

RADIO 4 follow the release of their brand new single PARTY CRASHERS – whose release date has slipped one week to July 12th – with news of a series of UK dates in August. These will follow the band’s two previously announced shows next week at Birmingham Academy 2 (June 21) and London’s 93 Feet East (June 22), the latter of which sold out within days of its announcement.

The Brooklyn based five piece bring their fiery brew to venues across the country as follows:

Book tickets through

  • 17th August – LONDON Islington Academy
  • 24th August – NOTTINGHAM Rock City
  • 25th August – HULL The Welly
  • 26th August – EDINBURGH T On The Fringe, The Venue
  • 27th August – LEEDS Festival

The dates precede the release of the band’s second album for City Slang Records / Labels, STEALING OF A NATION, which is due for release on September 13th. Produced by Max Heyes (Primal Scream, Doves), STEALING OF A NATION is a dramatic leap forward from the band’s previous album Gotham. Recording for the first time as a five piece, the band were able to fully embrace the percussive driven nature of their live performances, resulting in a record that flows from the vast sounds of first single Party Crashers to the deep dub of Nation to the straight ahead guitar pop of Absolute Affirmation, currently slated as the second single.

As the NME recently stated quite succinctly, “It’s as if the Hacienda never closed!”

PARTY CRASHERS features essential mixes from Ashley Beedle and Headman. The full tracklisting for the single, available on CD and 12″, is as follows:
