Blood Red Shoes join NME New Music tour and new single planned

The single “Its Getting Boring By The Sea” is out 11th June

Hotly tipped Brighton two-piece Blood Red Shoes release a new single Its getting Boring By The Sea, through V2 Recordings on Monday 11th June. The single will be available on download and as a strict limited edition of one thousand on seven-inch vinyl.

After playing their own sold-out headline tour of the UK earlier this year and causing chaos in London last week, with queues around the block, to get into their two appearances at the Camden Crawl, Blood Red Shoes set out on the NME New Music Tour with Rumble Strips, Pull Tiger Tail and The Little Ones in May. The band also play their first show in the U.S. on June 14th when they perform with Biffy Clyro and Enter Shikari at the Highline Ballroom in New York. The full UK dates are:

Its Getting Boring By The Sea was co-produced by BRS and Iain Gore, the B. side Box Of Secrets was produced by Steven Ansell.

Blood Red Shoes last single, the highly praised You Bring Me Down, was released in November via the Drowned In Sound Digital Singles Club and as a limited edition 7 through Abeano Records.

Blood Red Shoes are Laura-Mary Carter on vocals and guitar and Steven Ansell on vocals and drums.
