London 5 Piece Dogs complete the exciting line up. With a fresh and exuberantly raw energy, Dogs are gearing up for the release of their second album in the summer. For fans of the independent soul scene, singer/songwriter Eric Roberson — who has four releases out through his Blue Erro Soul label — is every bit a high-profile crowd pleaser as a Prince, Usher or Mary J. Blige. Roberson fuses soul, jazz and R & B into a smooth, silky style and has gained a loyal fan base.
Eric Roberson has new album Left released on April 9th 2007 and to celebrate he will be doing an in-store performance at Fopp TCR. Come and enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon with Eric and Fopp at:
Fopp Tottenham Court Road, Sunday 15th April 2007 at 2.30pm
Nigel Clark, ex-frontman of Dodgy, is back with a great collection of songs – his debut solo album called 21st Century Man. This time, Nigel has gone back to doing things on his own terms, recording, writing and producing the record from his own studio. Since leaving Dodgy, Nigel has kept a low profile from the public arena instead he has been developing bands in his native town of Redditch and homing his skills in the studio to put down on records the style and sound he always intended his work to be.
Heavily influenced by the Beatles and the Kinks, Nigel has crafted a cunningly British album, ably supported by a very good band of talented musicians
