Release date January 22nd on Rinse / Polydor
Already infamous for biting chunks out of various unlikely musical influences, spattering their lyrics with a whos who of cult literature and then ending up with a music thats poundingly catchy, driven and unique, Klaxons prepare their main assault on the charts with the anthemic new single Golden Skans.
A hypnotically sweet pop harmony is the backbone of the track, a sweeping, shiny dream of a song that will wipe clear the presumptions of those that think they know and tickle those already in the bands thrall even deeper into their cosmos.
The bands debut album Myths Of The Near Future is released on January 29th, a formidable array of instant yet deep and multi-layered moments that can be deciphered or danced to depending on mood and predilection.
The 700-capacity SeOne club will play host to both a matinee and evening performance by Klaxons in December (tickets), the former an all ages show in perfect time for Kristmas.
Thursday 14th Bath, Moles (sold out)
Friday 15th Bedford, Esquires (sold out)
