The Wall Street Journal has reported that MySpace.com are expected to add a whole load of new functions to the increasingly popular blog platform. Hopefully they can do something about all the really nasty eyesores of semi-official artist sites that appears to be their main customer base.
Bought last year for $1.3 billion by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp, among the additions expected are a video download function and better instant messaging and internet calling. MySpace will seemingly play a key role in Murdoch’s only relatively recently acquired ambition to take over the internet.
Which would be another reason not to visit.
