FIB Heineken 2006 will be held on the 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd of July

The Autonomous Government of Valencia, the Council of Catellón, the City Hall of Benicàssim and Maraworld, the promoters of FIB Heineken, have signed the protocol of intentions which will serve as the basis for the agreement that will soon be signed between the City Hall of Benicàssim and Maraworld establishing the change of dates for the Festival, the next edition of which will be held on the 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd of July of 2006.

Thanks to the commitments acquired from the above-mentioned institutions, this change of dates will represent a significant improvement in the quantity and quality of services that both the Festival and the tourism sector of Benicàssim will be able to provide the attendees of FIB Heineken.

For its part, the City Hall has made a commitment to undertake, over the next few years, a wide-ranging project to upgrade and improve the venue at which the Festival is held as well as the camping areas, with the objective of raising the standards of the quality of their infrastructures.

Likewise, the celebration of FIB Heineken in the month of July will allow us to avoid the holiday rush that takes place in Benicàssim during the first fortnight of August, which means that our audience will not only have a greater number of hotel rooms available, but will also be able to enjoy the region’s beaches, roads, services and tourist sites more comfortably.
