Poetic pop artist, Miki Huber, makes her UK debut this summer with a two week long solo tour. Largely based on unusually subtle songwriting and swelteringly melancholic performances,Miki has become a favorite of the East/West Village and Williamsburg antifolk and independent music scenes. “A simultaneously mysterious and down to earth songwriter, Miki mixes a certain folk delicacy with punk undertones. Miki’s music shines very brightly” (JezebelMusic.com).
On the EP, “Flutter”, electric and acoustic dynamics are fused, Creating a full sound supported by the various instruments. The EP breaks down to the honesty and organic quality that is Huber’s sound.
In Northampton Miki will be performing with Mrs. Pilgrimm who has recently completed a UK tour with Dinosaur Jr.’s Lou Barlow.
