The release of The Repulsion Box, Sons And Daughters new album along with it’s debut single, the Edwyn Collins produced Dance Me In, has seen Sons And Daughter’s star shine ever more brightly.
Having received plaudits aplenty with 2004’s debut mini album Love The Cup, The Repulsion Box finds Sons And Daughters developing their distinctive mix of rockabilly, American country and punk and embracing their love of murder ballads. The result is a dangerously explosive and highly charged record.
Forthcoming single, Taste The Last Girl, is something of a departure with it’s Phil Spector-esque Ronettes era production and Scott and Adele’s nagging na-na-na-na-na vocal. The single will be available on CD and 7″ on August 15th with additional tracks to be announced shortly.
Currently on tour in the UK and winning new fans across the country with their utterly captivating live shows, Sons And Daughters have also confirmed a number of festival appearances throughout the summer. They are as follows:
12th BBC 6music Summer Sundae
23rd T On The Fringe in Edinburgh
26th Leeds Festival on the NME/Radio One stage
28th Reading Festival on the NME/Radio One stage
Sons And Daughters : Taste The Last Girl
Released on August 15th on Domino
