Maximo Park, whose debut album A Certain Trigger has just been short listed for the prestigious Nationwide Mercury Prize, have just been announced as special guests on the Kaiser Chiefs (‘NME Rock ‘n’ Roll Riot’) October tour. As previously announced the band play a sold out UK tour this week ‘Going Missing Tour’, a show in Ibiza at the opening party for Ibiza Rocks at Manumission and the Reading and Leeds Festivals in August. After achieving another Top Twenty single with Graffiti and making their first appearance on T.O.T.P, Maximo Park released a new single Going Missing through Warp Records on Monday July 18th.
Maximo Park’s critically acclaimed debut album, A Certain Trigger, which has shot past Silver status in the UK, contains all the band’s singles including their debut limited edition release The Coast Is Always Changing / The Night I Lost My Head and their first Top Twenty single Apply Some Pressure.
