Following his stunning performance at the Camden Underworld supporting Rough Trade’s Aberfeldy, Arborise is back in London on Wednesday 20th April to play the Half Moon in Putney.
Arborise, AKA Dan Kijowski, is an exceptional guitar player and along with his uniquely captivating voice he’ll ensure that there’s no-one left chatting at the bar. Adopting Nick Drake’s more complex guitar techniques and influenced by the sweet melodies, simple structure and heavenly harmonies of Teenage Fanclub, Arborise began playing the clubs and dungeons of Edinburgh, with John Martyn as guitar teacher and Julian Cope as prescriber of pearls of nonsense and wisdom. Now living in a yurt in Devon, Arborise has slung his guitar over his shoulder and is coming up to London to “lift some hearts and bemuse some ravers”!
