ADF & Chuck D collaborate at Somerset House

ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION have confirmed that they will perform an exclusive one off show at London’s Somerset House on July 20th 2004 as part of Channel 4’s Summer Sessions – a series of four exclusive music events across London. These will see performances from other top UK acts including Roots Manuva, Soul II Soul Soundsystem and Norman Jay MBE, as well as outstanding talent from the Caribbean including Two Culture Clash’s Patra and Big Youth.

The Summer Sessions herald the start of Channel 4’s coverage of this summer’s England v West Indies npower Test Series and bring together a unique line-up of artists to celebrate the influence of West Indian culture on contemporary Britain.

The Channel 4 Summer Sessions open in the Courtyard at Somerset House on Tuesday 20th July with a double-bill of acts that make their homes in London but take their cues from all over the globe. Jamaican-influenced Roots Manuva is headlining in his first London show of the year. Asian Dub Foundation will also perform at the open air gig in an exclusive collaboration with Chuck D.
