US pop megastar, Janet Jackson releases her brand new double A side single All Nite (Don’t Stop) / I Want You through Virgin Records on 7 June 2004. Both songs are taken from her brand new Platinum selling album ‘Damita Jo’ which is out now.
‘All Nite (Don’t Stop)’ is a pulsating floor-filler dance track with infectious throbbing beats, smoothed by Janet’s signature breathy seductive vocals where as ‘I Want You’, produced by Kayne West, pays homage to a vintage Motown sound with a sensuous soulful summer vibe.
Janet released her new album and 8th studio album Damita Jo in March to much critical acclaim.
‘Damita Jo is a triumph – the songs are not only inventive but brilliantly constructed. The hooks nag and the choruses are explosive.’- Alexis Petridis, The Guardian
‘Damita Jo is a 22-track masterpiece. The opening track is a clever, classy hip-shaking song with a groove that’s hard to get out of your head.’ – Lisa Verrico, The Times
Damita Jo finds Janet once again working with the hitmaking production team of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who have produced every one of her albums since the 1986 breakthrough, ‘Control’. The new album also features writer/producers Austin (known for hits with Boyz II Men, Madonna, TLC, and many others); Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds (Toni Braxton, Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton); Rich Harrison (whose credits include Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love” and RnB artist Amerie) and hot newcomer Kanye West.
