Alan Braxe was part of the trio of producers (along with Thomas Bangalter and Benjamin Cohen) behind Stardust’s “Music Sounds Better With You”. Braxe has only released a very limited number of singles since that incredible anthem. He teamed up with Fred Falke for the classic “Runnin” EP in 2000 on his own label Vulture. They joined forces once again in 2002 for the release of “Palladium”. These boys certainly take their time when it comes to putting out their music!
Now for 2004 they are gearing up for the release of their new single “Rubicon”. Treading a similar path to their previous singles, it’s a slick mix of 80s synths, electro-disco and air guitar. B-side, ‘Arena’ is a stadium teaser complete with hand claps, drum solos and crowd chant. Finally on ‘Chrystal City” we get more into boogie wonderland.
Never ones to do things conventionally, there will also be a special promo DVD video with a coming of age driving lesson. The single will be released on 12″ and enhanced CD.
