The Keys will release a new single off the back of their biggest tour to date, taking them the length and breadth of the UK throughout February and March. Taken from the their eponymously titled debut album ‘From Tense To Loose To Slack’, already a favourite of John Peel will be released March 22nd and features 3 exclusive new songs.

To coincide with the launch of Electrelane’s new album, ‘The Power Out’ (released 2nd February), Permanent Gallery presents an exhibition of the original album sleeve art work. Art directed by Emma Gaze (Electrelane, Drummer) the album sleeve features individual artworks produced by 5 visual artists who took as their starting point one of the song titles from the album. The result is a diverse and rich collection of responses with a pervading common sensibility. Following in a long line of collaborations fundamental to the band’s vision the exhibition presents photography by Emma Gaze and Mia Clarke (Electrelane, guitarist) shown alongside paintings by Laura Mousavi and Polly Benians and drawings by Finnish artist Minna Liisa Henriksson.

John Peel Session:
Electrelane recently recorded 4 songs for John Peel at BBC Maida Vale, among them a cover of Roxy Musics ‘More Than This’. The session will be broadcast on Radio 1 during the John Peel show on Thursday 29th January.
