Ilya release their strikingly beautiful single ‘Bellissimo’ February 9th on Virgin Records. This evocative composition is taken from their eagerly anticipated debut album ‘They Died For Beauty’ released February 23rd.
‘Bellissimo’ is written and produced by Ilya’s three Bristol based members: vocalist Joanna Swan, writer Nick Pullin and producer Dan Brown. Together they form an arresting triumvirate that mix an elegant fusion of styles and sounds with mesmerising results.

Ashley Beedle mix, an Ilya mix and the video. A 12″ will also be released.
Dan Brown describes their sound as “Nina Simone meets Curtis Mayfield with a touch of Air on a windy night”.
If ‘Bellissimo’ sounds familiar it may well be because it’s the soundbed for the latest Cacharel perfume ‘Amor Amor’ TV ad, being aired over the next two months. The single is already receiving excellent specialist airplay with the Ashley Beedle mix.
